INDIAS FIRST MANGALYAN

Have you ever wondered about Mars which you have only read in books or internet ? Have you got complete information about it ? So let me tell you, it is not like that at all. There are still many such secrets about Mars to be known which you would not have even imagined. Only to know these secrets, India had sent Mangalyaan 1. Today in this documentary we will know that when India was preparing for Mission Mangal, how did India work-in the whole world ? After overcoming many difficulties, how India succeeded in its mission MOM ? and how did India strictly responded to the whole world ? How many countries have failed in this ? and how many  countries have completed the Mars mission so far ? Is Mangalyaan 1 still in the mars orbit ? If it is, what is it doing now ? how by working continuously day and night these 5 women made this mission a success. Lets get to knowin this documentary Everyone knows that our country is an agriculture dominated country and the Indian farmer is our pride.

Despite this, India in the field of space science achieving success one after the other has baffled even the developed countries of the world and in this way our country has joined an elitemars club to reach Mars because one such special success is the launch of Mangalyaan 1. When India was planning its Mission Mangal, during that time in the world about India's Mars mission a lot of jokes were being made. At that time, in the New York Times newspaper a cartoon was published which showed that - 'A farmer with his cow is knocking on the door of the elite mars club where 2 scientists are reading the news paper. Apart from this, another cartoon became very famous at that time in which it was shown that the members of the elite club are standing outside the door carrying the rocket and the Indian farmer is sitting in the elite club with his cow. After this, India in its very first attempt sent Mangalyaan and gave a befitting reply to those people in their own style.

It was such an unseen hard slap that hits on the face of cartoonists who tried to make fun of India about Mangalyaan when the prestigious 'Time' magazine included Mangalyaan among the best inventions of 2014. Mangalyaan which is formally known as Mars Orbiter Mission i.e.,  MOM. In the history of space science of the country, the day of November 5 is recorded with a special achievement. This day India on 5 Nov 2013 successfully launched its first Mangalyaan. into space. MOM was the Indian Space Research Organization, ISRO's an ambitious space project. This Mars mission was first tobe launched on 28 October 2013, but due to bad weather, scientists gave up its launch date and then on 5 November 2013 at 2:38 pm, Mangalyaan 1 from Andhra Pradesh's Satish Dhawan Space Center located in Sriharikota was launched. Its launch was done successfully through PSLVC 25. With this, India joined the countries that sent their spacecraft to Mars.

Earlier, only Russia, Japan, China, America, and the European Space Agency had tried to go to Mars, out of which only the US and the European Space Agency succeeded in second attempt, while India succeeded in its first attempt at Mars mission. In 2011, China's Mars mission had also failed. Along with this, among Asian countries India was the first country to successfully send Mangalyaan 1 to Mars. So far 58 missions have been sent to the Red Planet of our Solar System. First of all, the Soviet Union by sending the first Mars mission on 10 October 1960 started it. So far 8 countries have sent Mars missions, two-thirds of the missions sent have failed and 13 landers sent to Mars are currently in working condition. Mangalyaan-1 was to first while roaming in the Earth's orbit by traveling a total of 67 crore kilometres reach Mars. Finally that day also came. That was the Decisive stage of India's Mars mission when MOM on 24 September 2014, it was about to reach the orbit of Mars, only then in the morning the vehicle was slowed down, so that the mission could be successful. The success of the mission depended on the 24 minutes during which the engine in the vehicle was started.

The speed of Mangalyaan had to be slowed down so that in the orbit of Mars due to gravity it would not be dragged or got destroyed. When India through its space mission Mangalyaan 1, was about to reach Mars, thered planet of the solar system then the eyes of the whole world were on it because the low budget in which MOM was completed was impossible for other countries of the world At around 8:00 am, ISRO got a signal from Mangalyaan that Mangalyaan has reached the orbit of Mars and with this, India became the first country in the world to be successful in the first attempt. At the time of this historic moment, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi was present at the ISRO Center in Bangalore.

As soon as the mission was successful, PM Modi congratulated all the scientists of ISRO and said, "Today history has been made, many obstacles were against us, but we have made the impossible possible." Then NASA also congratulated ISRO on Twitter. Search engine Google on the completion of 1 month of India'sMars Orbiter Mission in the orbit of Mars made doodles on its Indian home page in which on the second O of Google it made the image of Mangalyaan. Although Mangalyaan 1 was designed to work for 6 months but it is still working. Mangalyaan is currently revolving around Mars in an elliptical orbit. The orbiter of Mangalyaan 1 sent thousands of pictures. Pictures sent by it, the US space agency NASA is buying it. Through these, NASA is doing research on the presence of methane on Mars. To reach the information from Mangalyaan to Earth it takes about 12and a half minutes. According to ISRO Chairman K Sivan, Mangalyaan 1 is still doing good work. The data it is sending to us is very helpful for ISRO Through the data sent by it, ISRO is exploring the possibilities of life on Mars.

If we talk about its budget, then no space mission can be complete din such a low budget as much as MOM. The low budget in which the MOM was completed was unbelievable for other countries of the world. The total cost of the Mom was Rs 450 crore i.e. $ 670 million, which is a record in itself. At the same time, the cost of America's Mars Mission Maven is about 10 times of MOM i.e. $ 67.1 million. On the surface of Mars the most talked about American rover that was already presesnt Curiosity has the cost of more than 2 billion dollars, so the same mars Perseverance Rover took 11 years to prepare and it cost 19,970crores to make it. Regarding this, PM Narendra Modi had said that it is cheaper than the budget of Hollywood’s science fiction film Gravity because the budget of the film Gravity was $100 million. ISRO's then chairman Radhakrishnan said about MOM's budget that it was a cheap mission but we have not made any compromise, we have completed it in about 15 months. After the success of Mars Orbiter Mission, now ISRO is about to launch Mangalyaan 2. Now to find opportunities on Mars, ISRO is planning to send another orbiter mission.

Now India is preparing to send fast cheap and successful mission Mangalyaan 2 to Mars. There is a plan to launch it by 2022. It will carry orbiter, lander and rover with its mission. It is being said that along with this vehicle, three astronauts can also be sent to Mars, but ISRO's priority is still Chandrayaan-3 and Gaganyaan Mission. But according to the currentISRO chairman K Sivan, we are still thinking about the Mangalyaan 2 mission. May be Mangalyaan 2is only orbiter mission. The purpose of Mom 1 is to study the mineral composition there on the surface of Mars. As well as to investigate theme thane in the atmosphere there. which tells the possibility of life on Mars. Mars Color Camera installed in ISRO's Mangalyaan captured the picture of Mars' largest moon Phobos 4200 km away. This picture is so clear that in the past it also shows huge craters formed by the collision of celestial bodies with Phobos. ISRO's other big project is in the next line.

after the success of Mangalyaan, ISRO has decided to send a mission to Venus as well and under Chandrayaan 3, ISRO will once again land a rocket on the surface of the Moon. ISRO by 2022 under the Gaganyaan mission plans plans to send three astronauts to space A team of 500scientists from ISRO worked in the MOM project, but women scientists did a lot of work in Mission Mangalyaan. About 27% of female scientists were at the important post of MOM. Out of these, five women scientists mainly made this mission successful. Meenal Rohit Born in Kolkata, took an engineering degree in Electricity and Communication. Meenal wanted to become a doctor when she was young but when she often saw satellite launching on TV in her childhood, after seeing the space mission, even a small Meenal became obsessed with becoming a scientist. After this she joined ISRO in 1999. He worked here as a satellite communication engineer.

After this, when she joined Mars Orbiter Mission i.e., MOM worked in a closed room for 15 to20 hours to complete this mission during this she didnot take a single leave. Anuradha T. K. Anuradha was born in Bangalore in 1961. She was interested in science since childhood. In 1969, when Neil Armstrong reached the moon, this incident impressed her a lot, although she was very small then. But since then the space mission became her heartfelt wish. When she joined ISRO in 1982, she became the first woman satellite project director there and later became a part of MOM. During an interview, she said that "sometimes she forgets that she is a woman because in ISRO she is given the same respect as men". She has also won many awards in her life. Ritu Karidhala Ritu belongs to Lucknow, UP. She used to read about space science in newspapers since childhood, so about every space mission of ISRO and NASA, she used to have very deep knowledge . After she joined ISRO in 1997, she became a part of the MOM project. She was the Deputy Operations Director in this mission. She united day and night for the mission. Ritu says, “MOM was a big challenge, we had to prepare for it in 18 months.

It was the first Indian satellite to have full scaleon board autonomy which can solve its own problem. Ritu tells that every day after make her two children  do homework, she used to get involved in this project from mid night. Maumita Dutta She was born in Kolkata. She was also very impressed by seeing the Chandrayaan mission in her childhood. She wanted to become space scientist since then. When she became part of MOM. She was working as a project manager. Nandini Harinath Science was settled in the family environment of Nandini Harinath. Everyone in the family was very interested in science fiction. After finishing his studies, she got a job in ISRO. After this, in MOM Project Nandini worked as Project Manager and Mission Design Deputy Operations Director. There was so much passion in the team about the work hat they had forgotten all day night and even food and drink. The result of which was that India in its very first attempt and that too in such alow budget created history. Now the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) through its next project Mars Orbiter Mission 2 MOM within 2 or 3 years will again in front of the whole world prove its skills. Thank You !
